Do not waste any more hard-earned tax payer money. If the bridge needs repair, then fix it. Do not change the road. Briarwood Lane is for residential traffic only and there is never a traffic jam.

Do not destroy the bridge or cut down the beautiful trees on Briarwood Lane. Widening the bridge and changing the road will promote cut throughs from Frontage and Algonquin. It already happened when they closed the bridge on Frontage Road last year. As a result, people sped down Briarwood. There are no street lights and sidewalks...we don't have them in Creekside adjacent to Plum Grove Estates, either, so the LAST thing we need is an increased stream of traffic, causing more hazards, danger, noise, car exhaust pollution, etc. The winding roads are part of the neighborhoods' charm and character as are the bridge and the trees. Don't waste money we DON'T have, on something we DON'T NEED.
