COMMENT    If you lived here what would you do?   Leave the area as it is.   That is why we are here.   If you want to destroy and area, pick your own.

COMMENT   I have lived in Creekside (neighborhood adjacent to Plum Grove Estates) for 15 years.  I go down Briarwood EVERY day when I walk my dog and drive down Briarwood regularly to get out to Algonquin or Meacham Roads, as it is a prettier drive through the neighborhoods thank it is going down Frontage Road.  I am in favor of leaving the BRIDGE and Briarwood AS IS.  Replacing the bridge and saving the trees will preserve the neighborhood and all its charm and beauty.

We support the "Save Briarwood Lane Project" concerning the very high costs of the bridge and distruction of many beautiful trees. Turning Briarwood into a much wider road would create serious safety issues and totally change the character of a very nice neighborhood. This is another example of government mismanagement and not hearing the concerns of the tax payers.

I am a young member of plum grove estates, who just started driving, and I have never had a problem with this bridge or the turns.

One of the reasons we moved to this area is because of the beauty of the neighborhood's trees and quaint streets. This is such a unique sub division with it's winding streets, large lots, mid century ranch homes and beautiful old trees. Please take the communities comments and wishes into consideration before making irrevocable changes.

Do not mess with the bridge. If you must rebuild it make it a single lane bridge like the one in Killdare Il. It will slow traffic down and look great and may cost less to rebuild.
